We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to lead the design and architecture of our next-generation
software solutions. As a Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving technical
decisions that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. Beyond technical depth, we’re looking for
someone who is highly analytical — able to reason through ambiguous, real-world scenarios and land on
sound, well-justified solutions — and who actively brings modern AI-assisted engineering practices into
day-to-day work to accelerate delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
• Define and drive the technical architecture of our software solutions, ensuring they are scalable,
secure, and aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze ambiguous, real-world scenarios and translate them into clear architectural options,
weighing trade-offs (cost, scalability, time-to-market, risk) before recommending a path forward.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement microservices architectures for
seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Leverage your expertise in cloud technologies like AWS to design and implement solutions that
enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code,
Cursor) across the team to speed up design, coding, testing, and review — without compromising
quality or security.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, testable, and maintainable code through best practices, including
Test-Driven Development (TDD) and code reviews.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative
solutions that meet business needs.
• Focus on achieving high system uptime, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to
maintain reliability.
• Implement and manage integration with various supporting systems, such as authentication
providers, search tools, and monitoring tools.
What we’re looking for:
• 10+ years of experience developing complex, scalable web applications.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of
architecture principles and patterns.
• Demonstrated analytical ability: comfortable working through open-ended, scenario-based problems
and presenting multiple viable solutions with clear reasoning — ideally backed by examples such as
architecture decision records (ADRs).
• Expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures with a focus on
scalability, security, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js) and frontend frameworks (React, Vue).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative
environment.
• Strong understanding and implementation of agile methodologies, including participation in
roadmap planning and retrospectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into
scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively with both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Genuinely current on AI trends and tooling, with hands-on experience using AI coding assistants
(Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) in real projects, and good judgment about where AI
accelerates delivery versus where it introduces risk.
• A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best
practices in software architecture and development.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services, containerization, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Git (Bitbucket or GitHub) and feature-branch workflows.
